Group Makeup Coaching Session (4 person min.) - $120 per person
Over 70% of New Zealand women wear makeup every day but still don’t fully like the way it makes them look. They want to look fresher, healthier, brighter, their skin more even and their wrinkles, redness or breakouts less noticeable. Our makeup coaching aims to help these women, as well as those completely new to makeup, to feel confident and empowered when both shopping for and applying their makeup.
What does a group makeup lesson include?
Each group makeup coaching session includes a full practical, step by step application of a complete makeup look which you do yourself, with heaps of guidance, tips and tricks as you go. We talk through each step, the ‘what’ and ‘why’ so you get a great understanding and remember it all. Everyone also leaves with a written step-by-step of the look to act as a reminder as you practice at home, as well as a recommended product list with trusted and tested products, all affordable and easily available locally! We are absolutely not out to teach you how to use the most expensive, hard to purchase professional products as its not necessary to create beautiful makeup for the everyday woman.
Do you need to bring anything?
We encourage anyone coming to a makeup coaching session to bring any makeup and brushes/tools they own with them so we can look and talk through products, help clear out any expired and potentially harmful products and get an understanding of the types of products you are used to and colours you have been using before we start our lesson.
I only have 2 or 3 basic products and no brushes though…
That’s absolutely ok! Bring those products with you anyway so we can see what you have been using and what will be new to you so we can help you in those areas more. We have brushes and products to show you and for you to use so you will still have everything you need for the lesson.
What does a group makeup lesson look like?
Group sessions are so much fun! These sessions are such a great option for hen’s parties, ladies’ wine nights, staff activities, or just a fun thing to do with friends. Group sessions are held at a client’s house (whoever has the biggest dining room table in the group!) and your artist will come and set up around the table before starting the session. As with the 1-on-1 sessions, everyone still goes through a practical walk through of a look and each receive the written step-by step and product list sheets. Learning with a group is super effective as confidence tends to be high, everyone feels comfortable with each other and questions come up that others may not have thought of. Lots of laughs, plenty of drinks and nibbles, and ultimately, a group of very glamorous looking ladies who have learned to apply their makeup in a way that makes them feel fabulous!
